We collect the minimum we need to turn up at your door and fix your phone. This page says exactly what that is.

What we collect

  • Your mobile number — to sign you in and to call you about your repair. This is the only thing we require to create an account.
  • Your address, pincode and optional landmark — so the technician can find you.
  • Your approximate GPS location — only if you tap "Use my current location" and allow it in your browser. It's optional; declining doesn't stop you booking, and you can remove it before submitting.
  • What's wrong with your phone, and your phone model and name if you choose to give them.

What we don't collect

No payment or card details — payment happens in person after the repair. No photos, no documents, no access to anything on your device. We don't ask for your email unless you write to us.

How we use it

To contact you about your repair, assign a technician, and reach your address. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. The only people who see your details are the Fixkaru team and the technician assigned to your repair.

Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use this site — which pages get used, where the booking form is confusing. Clarity records anonymised interactions such as clicks, scrolls and page views, and this may include a playback of your session with text fields masked. It's used to fix usability problems, not to identify you. You can opt out with your browser's Do Not Track setting or a content blocker; the site works the same either way.

Where it's stored

In our Supabase database, protected by row-level security so a signed-in customer can only ever read their own requests.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and requests entirely. Write to fixkaru@gmail.com or call +91 96658 22745 from the number you registered with, and we'll action it.
